EDIT: Nothing major, just fixed some of the wording that was bugging me, and expanded on some info.
There's also a very minor mistake in the art itself that has been bugging me, but that will have to wait until next time.

Info:
Anika's soul originally belonged to a young Beastwoman who, only weeks before she had planned to take her soul journey, fell ill. Her journey was postponed, but her health did not improve for many months, leaving her bedridden. Her family did all they could to find help, but none of the cures would work- some even made things worse. One 'cure' in particular caused her to begin fading in and out of a comatose state.
Finally, her father found a "solution" that many considered outright insane: He found a Golem Crafter called Artur, and commissioned a Golem to be made to house his daughter's soul.
Despite the warnings that she would remember nothing, would far outlive her family, and would by all rights be an entirely new being, he insisted on continuing. He pulled every resource he had available (and then some) in order finish the commission before his daughter could pass away. Luckily for him, Artur succeeded.

But, true to form, Anika had no memory of her past once she awakened, even when her previous self's father told her of her supposed past.
He was devastated, but not entirely unsurprised. Without a word, he left her with Artur and returned to the rest of his family. Despite the debt he still owed the Crafter, he did not return. With this debt unpaid, Anika remained with Artur as compensation, not allowed to leave and becoming his assistant.
Originally, she was content with this way of life. But as Artur taught her about Noverra and its history, she began to grow restless, wanting to see it all for herself, not just hear about it.
A little over a year after she had first awakened, a teenage Beastman named Derik arrived with news: her old self's father had passed away, and as his oldest son, Derik would work for Artur until the family's debt was repaid. With this deal made, Artur finally allowed Anika to leave and make a life for herself.

Other:
Anika's residence is merely a rented out room, in the home of one of her coworkers, a courier like her, in the mixed-race sector of Tharsis.
She doesn't like to stay there too often, usually due to not wanting to awkwardly intrude on her coworker's home life. Though it is also because, as a golem, she simply has no need to remain indoors all the time. The only true reason she even bothers renting the room is because she feels very uncomfortable with the idea of not having a place to call 'Home'.

Her job as a courier rarely involves anything that needs urgent delivery. Usually she is given the jobs that require heavy-lifting, or traveling long distances.
She is also assigned to occasionally accompany coworkers when a delivery requires more protection than usual. While her combat skills are a bit limited, she is still plenty strong, and sometimes her presence alone is enough to keep things safe.

She enjoys collecting little things she finds along her deliveries, mostly pretty rocks and other interesting bits of nature. Her rented room is neatly decorated with all manner of them.

She also has an odd love and fascination for small birds, especially sparrows. She isn't sure why, but she doesn't really question it too often.

She's kind and optimistic, though not as energetic as one would expect, preferring to listen and observe rather than act out all the time.
She is also very loyal, though her own morals will always come before rules or laws. Her moral alignment tends to toe the line between Neutral Good and True Neutral, but it usually remains on the good side of things.

She is still in contact with Derik and Artur. While she can't truly consider Derik to be her brother anymore, she still considers him a good friend. And she considers Artur to be something akin to a father figure to her.

She was taught the commonly-known history of the Gods and the Demigod, but has never expressed any concrete faith in them.
Once, when questioned why she did not worship even the Demigod, who historically gave Golems their freedom and free will, she had curtly replied that it had been Artur, the Crafter, who had given her life, not the Demigod. And while she had no quarrel with him or the other Gods, she also had no reason to worship them.
Talking about the Gods and religions outside of mere historical context tires her, and she is usually quite glad that Arden has policies against such things.
